A small team with a large focus, Anchor Testing has supported the construction industry in Austin and surrounding areas since 1990. Anchor Testing was founded by the late William “Bill” Strosnider, a former Chief Petty Officer for the U.S. Navy. Tom Evans acquired the company in 2002 and over the years has worked on hundreds of projects for local builders.

When Austin began to see a wave of growth in the 1990’s and early 2000’s, Anchor Testing was there as a leader for inspection and welding services along the way. In 2007, Tom’s son, Brad Evans, followed his footsteps and became a welding inspector. Now, with more than 50 years of combined experience and multiple inspectors in the Central-Texas area, the Anchor Testing team is equiped to meet a variety of inspection needs.
